Refund and cancellation policy

There is no subscription and nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. You buy a pack of minutes of finished video once, and spend them when a render succeeds. Unused minutes do not expire. During the current beta, buying minutes is closed and the service is free.

What is refunded automatically

• A render that fails returns the minutes it held to your balance, in full, whatever the cause.
• A render you cancel returns the minutes it held, in full.
• A render interrupted on our side (for example a server restart) is marked failed and its minutes are returned.
• Regenerating a shot in a video you already have costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.

Refunds in money

• Unused minutes are refundable for 14 days from the purchase. Email hello@shortwright.com from your account's address, and we refund the unspent part of that pack to the card or account you paid with.
• Minutes already spent on finished videos are not refunded, because the video exists and the compute behind it is already paid for. That includes a finished video you choose not to publish.
• Refunds go to the original payment method and normally arrive within 5 to 10 working days.
